Original Art:
Because of it's value, original art requires
special handling for shipping.
Certain pieces of the original art offered here are very fragile and require crating for
shipping. The abstract inks are on very thin paper and must be pre-matted to
ensure their safety. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity,
instructions for proper care, and tips for successful framing.
Fine Art Prints:
Our prints are individually inspected and
hand signed by the artist, so please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Often we
will be able to ship within 2 or 3 days after receiving your order. However,
if there is a problem with the print and it has to be redone to satisfy our
exacting standards of excellence, we will take the extra time required to
insure that each print we send out is as perfect and as beautiful as it can
be. Unless otherwise noted, we offer giclee prints on
fine art paper or smooth
surface archival matte paper.
What
is a giclee print?
A giclee (pronounced "zee-clay") comes
from the French word, "fine spray". It is a digital print that is produced by
the application of millions of tiny ink droplets sprayed onto fine art paper
or canvas. The archival based inks used are specially formulated so that the
fine print heads spray droplets at a resolution of 1200 dpi. The media used is
also of archival grade to last 100 to 200 years. The visual quality of the
print is extremely high and the color saturation and definition stunning.
