A few comments about this painting by the artist:

This painting was created at the same time as her sister piece Aspen, and I was pleasantly surprised at how similar they are. Most of my experiments in duplicating a particular "look" or image end in a sort of happy disaster as the paintings seem to take on lives of their own. I think of these two as twins, this one being the less outgoing of the two.
