A few comments about this painting by the artist:

This painting was made with just 2 colors of ink - purple and yellow. After applying the inks, and the leaf, I covered the piece with plastic wrap and left it to dry for 2 weeks. Somehow, blue and green crept into it. There is probably a logical explanation, but I choose to think that as the painting grew to maturity it took on a life of it's own and created its own colors.
