A few comments about this painting by the artist: This little painting is so beautiful. It is one of my earliest paintings, and was made before I began the practice of signing my work either on the edge or the back. I was still using my married name at the time, "Shirley Janner" and this is one of a very few paintings with my married name signed on the front. What I like most about this painting are the many intriguing details contained within it. I think it could be cropped into dozens of little miniatures.
