A few comments about this painting by the artist: This began as a painting of a pine forest, and very soon the whole thing began to get out of hand, and somehow the forest caught on fire - it was a painting out of control. I love when that happens because it usually means that I am really deep in the flow. And in that creative flow an out of control wildness came into expression.
