A few comments about this painting by the artist: This is another one of my favorite paintings, created with just a few colors and a simple idea. I used a diluted mix of ink and fabric paint to simulate the flow of water, and tilted it slightly to get the liquid moving ever so slowly. Then I left it alone to slowly move as the ink dried. Gingkos Ascending and Underwater Moon were created at the same time as I allowed the ink to simply flow from one painting into the other.
